TODAY'S WORD
We were on vacation about a week ago and as we drove, I began a discussion regarding the effect that certain words and phrases have with regard to the summoning of God's presence and His glory. I have discerned for many years that certain songs that have such phrases as "Holy, Holy, Holy", or "Glory in the highest" certainly draw His presence more than any other expressions of exalting worship. There is one phrase however, that has surpassed all the others in my estimation and experience. It is the phrase "Hosanna in the highest". The Hebrew rendering of this phrase is phonetically pronounced "Hosheana Rabba". We listened to and sang along with a great number of songs while we were out on vacation and this effect was noted by my wife as well, as we were in agreement as to the seemingly ritualistic summoning effect that this phrase, sung to a beautiful melody, has in ushering in and welcoming a tremendous manifestation of God's presence. Truly, most of the manifestations of God's glory that I have personally experienced, especially those evidenced by the appearance of visible fire, have occurred while a song was being sung that had within it's lyrics this phrase: "Hosanna in the highest".

The Holy Spirit continued to bring this phrase before me after our vacation ended and on the morning of September 20th, He was also quickening me to study out the word "Hosanna" in the Hebrew. The solitary OT appearance of the word is found in Psalm 118:25 where we see it rendered in the English as "save now, deliver now, we beseech thee". In essence, it is a cry of desperate desire that God would come forth and save His people. Found there in that psalm of ascents that was recited as the Jews went up to the temple mount, it is there revealed as highest praise unto God. I then entered into an exhaustive study of the word and how it is associated with the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, less than one week prior to His crucifixion. I also studied further into the commentators and then further into the Jewish and Hebrew commentators, for this word "Hosanna" and this phrase "Hosanna (Hosheana) Rabbah" are very critical parts of the worship ritual of the Feast of Tabernacles. The seventh, or last, great day of the feast, Tishri (7th month) 21st day even carries the name "Hosheana Rabbah" on the 100 year Hebrew calendar that I own: Hosheana Rabba is the name of the very day. My copy of the Jewish Siddur, given to me by a Jewish man whom I led to faith in Messiah, is the traditional prayer book of the Jews. It lays out the ritualistic prayers regarding the Hosheanna, where the words are repeated seven times as the people are marching around the bema (ark containing the scrolls) seven times, on the seventh day of the great feast of Tabernacles. Jewish commentators have likened this ritual to a summoning ceremony, similar to the seven trips around Jericho that the Hebrews made during the time of Joshua. The seventh time around the city, the seven trumpets were blown on the seventh day. To me, this triple convergence of sevens recalls the seven seals, trumpets and vials of revelation to my mind.

I was left with several questions after this study and much excitement, for I was very much aware, due to the writing of my last article, entitled "A Haggai Season", that Haggai received the second part of his revelation on the 7th month, 21st day. That day is "Hosheana Rabbah". I was further aware that the first prophecy about the day of great shaking of all things that Haggai received was set forth in the second chapter and further, I am aware of the location of that chapter in the bible: it is the 911th chapter. I had noticed that biblical fact shortly after September 11, 2001. God has previously associated this 911th chapter of the Holy Bible with an event of great shaking that occurred in the United States of America on the day of 9/11. Indeed, the saying, a "911", has entered the popular vernacular as many people wonder when or if we will suffer another "911" in the nation of America. Haggai received this revelation on the last, great day of the Feast of Tabernacles: Hosheana Rabbah!

Yes, as I said, I was excited to see this connection. The Lord had already spoken to me, earlier this month, that we had entered into "A Haggai Season". I had written that this would involve Teshuvah, or repentance and a revival of concern about the condition of God's spiritual house, which is both our individual human body temples of the Lord and the many membered body or temple of the Lord that is formed when God's people rightly gather together in His name. I began to wonder whether the Haggai season that God was speaking about, that was coinciding with the month of Ellul, or 6th Hebrew month, might also continue on in terms of the lining up of actual events in the fall of 2016 with their parallel dates in the book of Haggai in that the month of Tishri, which will begin this year on October 2 at sundown, might also include some great shaking: perhaps another 911, or as a prophet I once heard say, a "seven times greater than 911"? It seems that the Holy Spirit is intimating that there is such a connection, but let the reader take great care, for even Haggai did not set the date of Hosheana Rabbah as the date of great shaking, but he gives the warning on that date and says,

"Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts." Haggai 2:6-7 (the 911th chapter of the bible)(given to Haggai on Hosheana Rabbah)

Yes, as I said formerly, I was much excited, and trying not to set any dates, but I do take note, as of the night of this writing, that the house and prophecy known as "The Tsunami House Revelation" (search Google for that phrase), is 98% complete and is likely to be completed before the end of October, 2016. Certainly, we have other reason to be very prophetically attentive right now. One Hebrew year has passed since the four blood moons coincided with four Hebrew appointed times. We have had a sabbath year, which some have called a Schmittah year, of relative quiet and prosperity. Many are wondering just what might loom as the Jewish high holy days approach. Certainly, Hosheana Rabba is set this year for sundown, October 22. Haggai had said that "once, it is a little while". That might indicate that the time of great shaking, if we are correct in expecting it so soon, might follow along shortly after Hosheana Rabbah and might not fall exactly on a set date. This probably makes date setting perilous at this time.

Yes, but with the excitement I had about this, I also had many questions as I did this study of Hosanna and Hosheana Rabbah. The word "Hosanna" appears five times in the gospels: Matthew 21:9, Matthew 21:15, Mark 11:9, Mark 11:10, Luke 19:38 (glory in the highest) and John 12:13. In two of the five mentions, the entire phrase "Hosanna in the highest" (Heb Hosheana Rabbah) is uttered by disciples of Jesus: Matthew 21:9 and Mark 11:10. The mention of this phrase by the disciples greatly upset the scribes and pharisees as they asked Jesus to rebuke His disciples in Luke 19:39 but I was most interested in the account of Matthew, who is alone in mentioning that even little children were crying out this phrase. The little children added to their praise by saying "Hosanna to the son of David". This sorely displeased the scribes and pharisees as Matthew records for us in Chapter 21, verse 15. Jesus replies to them in a most apt manner by saying, "Yea, have ye never read, out of the mouth of babes and sucklings, thou has perfected praise." What if Jesus was not speaking in hyperbole, but was speaking an absolute truth. What if there is something about this word and this phrase "Hosheana Rabbah" and its' close relations that represents perfected praise?

I can just see what this scene must have been like in my minds eye, for I witnessed something that must have been like it. What I see parallels what I saw when I held three different evangelistic crusades in the market town of Chwele, Western Kenya, just at the southern base of Mount Elgon. I saw several hundred children who had gathered up at the front of the platform on each of those times of ministry. We began to sing a song, entitled "WeLeWe Kamaya". In English, that means "God of miracles". As the worship leader proceded to lead the singing, informing the God of miracles that we were looking for Him, this mass of little children began to jump up and down in unison. They were two or three feet tall, but they were leaping in the air, in keeping with the beat and time of the song and singing, "WeLeWe Kamaya, WeLeWe Kamaya, WeLeWe Kamaya, Buca Buson Goli". I was overwhelmed as I watched this scene and I was the lone adult who left the platform. I went down into the midst of those little children and I began jumping in the air in unison with those hundreds of little ones, as all the adults looked on, for I had the strong sense that they were perfecting praise on that afternoon in Chwele. They were among the dirtiest and dustiest little children that I have ever seen, but their praise to God is unmatched by anything else that I have ever witnessed.

The liturgy surrounding the seven times of repeated, responsive chants of the Hosannas on the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles seem to have been in place in Judaic practice for a very long time. Most agree that this was probably being done at the time of Jesus in much the same way as the Jews do to this very day in their synagogues. The Siddur prescribes a long, seven part, responsive reading, called "The Hoshanoth", as the congregation circles the Bema seven times. The word "Hosheana" is repeated over and over again as prayers are offered for the nation, the temple, for God's people, for rain and for many other things. Certainly, the great activity and movement of this ceremony must have impressed greatly upon young minds. I read through the Siddur this morning, going through the hundred or so repetitions of the word Hosheana, or save us now, we beseech thee. The responsive chants must have caused those little ones to squirm in the Synagogue just like I used to do in Lutheran Church, drawing some certain looks of ire and warning from my father. Something of the Holy Spirit sparked in these children however, as Jesus says that perfected praise came forth from their mouths, but why was this happening now? Why is this being said by them in the Spring, one week prior to Passover as they watched Jesus, riding a donkey that was treading over garments and branches? This repetitive, responsive reading happens every year in every synagogue, in the fall feasts? Why now? Was the timing off?

I believe it was a prophecy and perhaps, it was a timing prophecy, after all. The Holy Spirit was giving an indication that the saving of the nation and the temple would not be fully completed until some future events that were to be set in motion during some future Feast of Tabernacles. Certainly, forty years following these events, the physical Jerusalem temple was not saved, but destroyed, so as a prophecy, this must have referred to some saving action that will come later to these temples that we now properly deem to be our bodies and our assemblies. Furthermore, the religious experts at that time did not have the benefit of our experience as we have already seen how God has fulfilled the Passover feast during the first coming of Jesus and the feast of weeks, or Pentecost, was fulfilled exactly at the time of the arrival of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. So we, perhaps more than any others who were alive at that time, have an expectation that the fall feasts and appointed times of the Lord, and most particularly, the Feast of Tabernacles or Ingathering, are awaiting some large, last days fulfillment and this will very likely coincide in time with the time period of those feasts as they fall upon their appointed days on the Hebrew calendar.

What am I looking for? I am looking for God to cause the shaking of all things that can be shaken. I am looking for Jesus to begin, in earnest, in the taking up of the club to destroy these present harlot churches that have been built but not according to His instructions or design. I am expecting that God will arise with a war cry to awaken His slumbering remnant and that they will become a mighty force in the Earth, going forth as a lion as was described by the prophet Micah; going forth doing even greater exploits than Jesus had done, as Jesus himself said that they will one day perform. Yes, I am expecting that the day of great shaking is very near. I am expecting the very near onset of what our bible refers to as the day of great tribulation. I set no exact dates, but I echo what my brother, the prophet Haggai had to say with respect to timing: that it will come "once, it is a little while". I am expecting that in this prophet, God will work through His remnant to perform deeds that will cause many to recall just how God behaved when He brought His people out of Egypt. God will bear His holy arm and hide no more. I am expecting that, very soon now, there will be wind and waves of the sea roaring upon the Earth and that the hearts of many people will begin to fail because of what is coming upon the Earth. Very soon now, I am expecting all of it.

These thoughts were quite central in my last article, entitled "A Haggai Season-The "37" Revelation":
Isa 40:3 A voice cries out, "Prepare in the wilderness a road for the LORD! Clear the way in the desert for our God! Isa 40:4 Fill every valley; level every mountain. The hills will become a plain, and the rough country will be made smooth. Isa 40:5 Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it. The LORD himself has promised this."

Now, with this article, these thoughts come forth:
Isa 40:6 A voice cries out, "Proclaim a message!" "What message shall I proclaim?" I ask. "Proclaim that all human beings are like grass; they last no longer than wild flowers. Isa 40:7 Grass withers and flowers fade when the LORD sends the wind blowing over them. People are no more enduring than grass. Isa 40:8 Yes, grass withers and flowers fade, but the word of our God endures forever." Isa 40:9 Jerusalem, go up on a high mountain and proclaim the good news! Call out with a loud voice, Zion; announce the good news! Speak out and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah that their God is coming! Isa 40:10 The Sovereign LORD is coming to rule with power, bringing with him the people he has rescued. Isa 40:11 He will take care of his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs together and carry them in his arms; he will gently lead their mothers.

And these:
Isa 42:13 The LORD goes out to fight like a warrior; he is ready and eager for battle. He gives a war cry, a battle shout; he shows his power against his enemies. Isa 42:14 God says, "For a long time I kept silent; I did not answer my people. But now the time to act has come; I cry out like a woman in labor. Isa 42:15 I will destroy the hills and mountains and dry up the grass and trees. I will turn the river valleys into deserts and dry up the pools of water. Isa 42:16 "I will lead my blind people by roads they have never traveled. I will turn their darkness into light and make rough country smooth before them. These are my promises, and I will keep them without fail. Isa 42:17 All who trust in idols, who call images their gods, will be humiliated and disgraced."

Finally, I am reminded that all of this began on the morning of August 22, 2016, when, in prayer, I looked through the front window, only to see the number 37 painted on the roof of the house that sits across the street. That 37 refers to the 37th book of the bible has been made abundantly clear by everything that the Holy Spirit has revealed during the last month. I take note that now, it also appears to point to the night of October 22, 2016: Hosheana Rabbah in our time. I closed my last article with Psalm 37 and I will do so again, for the Lord is going to completely vindicate this prophetic servant of His, and right quick:

Psa 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. Psa 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. Psa 37:32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. Psa 37:33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. Psa 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
