TODAY'S WORD

There is something about the thought of death by decapitation that evokes extreme terror. You can try to argue with your mind that such a death would be quick and painless. Compare it, for example, with death by lethal injection or death by electrocution. Logically speaking, death by decapitation takes a shorter time than either of those options. Use of a proper guillotine makes mistakes very rare. The nervous system is severed quickly and shut down at the point of the impact of the blade. So, logically speaking, this method of execution should probably be preferred over the others, yet my guess is that most people would probably prefer just about any other death to a death by decapitation. There is a horror to it that is deeply seated in the human psyche and Hollywood has made great use of it. Modern Islamic terrorist organizations have figured this out as well. To terrorize a population to the maximum degree, they begin by chopping off heads.

Last night, both my wife and I heard the Lord speaking about this subject. I had written about some aspects of this topic back in 2007 at 12/17/2007 PROPHECY: Those Seemingly "Headless" Moments. Tonight finds me in an entirely different set of circumstances. 2007 found Watchmen Prophets Assembly with four very active prophetic elders and several others who were frequently sharing what they were hearing from the Lord. No single one of us was a head of the assembly. We were an online assembly and Jesus was our head. I was determined to have it be so. Now, what I see is that we have almost totally ceased to be a functioning assembly as that requires sharing and function on the part of members. My wife and I are doing our very best as an anointed pair, but we at Watchmen Prophets Assembly are meeting the bare minimum requirement right now for a functioning assembly (wherever two or three of you are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of you). Others must arise for there to be a really healthy assembly: an online body of Jesus Christ.

Many years ago, I had gone to a lunch where my Senior Pastor was meeting with the elders. The discussion was about eldership and church function. My Senior Pastor advanced the proposition that all of nature argues that anything with more than one head is a freak. He therefore concluded that God had set a natural order where a properly organized church should have only one head. He had proven it and settled it in his own mind that he was that single solitary head of the body of Christ that we were a part of. I was only baptized in the Holy Spirit less than one year, so I kept my thoughts to myself, but I had already had my PYRAMID VISION where Jesus had told me and shown me what He thought of the Senior Pastor model of the church. I knew my Senior Pastor had to be in gross error.

Last night, Jesus explained something to me. These Senior Pastors decapitate the church when they appoint themselves to be the single, solitary head of the body of Jesus Christ. Yes, it is true that all of nature suggests that every body needs to have only one head. Jesus must be the one and only solitary head of the body of Jesus Christ.

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

and

Col 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, Col 2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

These scriptures make it perfectly clear that Jesus is the absolutely indisputable head of the body of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the word of God gives clear instructions that the body of Jesus Christ is to "hold to the head", which is Jesus Christ our Lord. The Lord said to me last night that any and all Senior Pastors cut the head off the body of Jesus Christ when they appoint themselves or when they accept appointment to the position of Senior Pastor. They deceive themselves when they believe that they become the head of the body of Christ. They absolutely do not! They cut off the head of the body: Jesus. They leave the body in a headless condition: an unspeakable horror and they are completely oblivious to the violence they have done to the word of God and to the body.
