PROPHECY: You Must Become As A Little Child

TODAY'S WORD
 Mt 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mt 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Mr 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
Lu 18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Last Sunday, I was helping to lead the worship in my church, when our leader began to play a marching song, titled “We Are The Army Of The Lord”.

The littlest member of the church, Emily, age 6, gathered two of her young friends, and they began to march to the beat, all around the church. I watched for a bit, and then I decided that I had to join in and follow this little child march. We need to take things in like a child sometimes, through those childlike eyes. Little Emily didn’t give it much thought: she heard that marching beat, and she did the natural thing…she marched. And, she enlisted those around her to march as well.

Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

If I were a little child, and not 47 years of age, how would I be viewing these times? What would I be thinking?

Two nights ago, just after we prayed, and laid down our heads to sleep, our nine year old son Johnny suddenly sat straight up. He said, “Dad, God just talked to me. He said to tell you that the stuff in Revelation starts happening real soon, very, very soon.”

That was Tuesday night, May 18th. Johnny had just been water baptized the previous Sunday afternoon at our Pastor’s home. So, biblically, he had every right to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and I should expect that God might speak to him just as freely as God speaks to me.

Last night, as if for emphasis, Johnny reminded me of what God had told him. Johnny was watching TBN: something he has previously not done voluntarily. He was in the room alone, watching Hal Lindsey’s Intelligence Report. Hal was talking about China and Taiwan. Johnny looked up at me and reminded me what God had told him the night before: that all this “Revelation Stuff” was about to start happening.

My son Johnny doesn’t know anything about the ten or more different ways of eschalotogically interpreting the Book of Revelation. He cannot argue pre-trib or post-trib. To him, it is simple: that stuff is starting soon!

Now, for some simple, childlike observations of my own:
1) The biggest transition times in my life with God have happened in the month of June: Salvation, First Prophecy, Baptism in the Holy Spirit and my call as a prophet.
2) This is the 17th year of my walk with the Lord. For more than 10 years, I have expected that something big would happen in my 17th year.
3) There was a big burst of prophetic activity in the forty days prior to 9/11/2001.
4) There has been a big burst of prophetic activity, particularly among unsaved people who are getting similar dreams, which began on Friday, May 14.
5) The Lord spoke twice to me on Friday, May 14, saying “It is time”.
6) For the week of May 7 through May 13, my website averaged 250 hits per day.
7) For the week of May 14 through May 20, my website has averaged about 5000 hits per day.
8) The weather here in Florida is incredibly dry and cool. I do not ever remember it being like this here in May.
9) Most of the dreams that people have been receiving have been about falling asteroids and nuclear attacks.

In August, 1992, I was absolutely certain that something big was going to happen. I suspected a big earthquake was impending along the fault line named for the apostle Andrew: the San Andreas. What we got was Hurricane Andrew.

In September, 2001, many of us were seeing great storms in visions, and expecting a whole host of things. None of us in my circle foresaw the exact occurrence of the World Trade Center attacks.

Now, we are looking for many things to happen that affect the United States. It feels like that again. Something big is about to happen. Some of these on this list will affect a large portion of the rest of the world when they occur. Many prophets, and little children, have seen these things:

1) Los Angeles nuclear terror
2) Miami nuclear terror
3) Terrible storms and hurricanes
4) Nuclear attack against the USS Kitty Hawk and USS Abraham Lincoln
5) Three asteroids/great flood
6) Drought leading to famine
7) San Andreas earthquake
8) Isaiah 9 war involving Iran, Syria and Israel
9) New Madrid continent splitting earthquake
10) Volcanic eruptions at Yellowstone and Mt. Ranier
11) Nuclear attack, Invasion and occupation of the USA

Some of us think that we have a pretty good idea of a rough order of occurrence here. Maybe we do, and maybe we don’t. My son Johnny just says that “stuff like this is coming soon”. I look at the eleven on that list as a sort of terrible cocktail. I am not quite sure of the order of mixture, but it appears to be a certainty that we must drink it.

Will we get what we are looking for, or will the pattern that has followed historically, happen again.

Whatever the case, the little child inside of me is expecting something to happen: something big.

Some people, especially the unsaved, are even beginning to talk about the really big one: the ONE SIGN of the return of the Lord. I was reading about it this morning in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Revelation 6, Ezekiel 32 and Isaiah 34.

Matthew 24
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mark 13
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Isaiah 34
2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Ezekiel 32
7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.

Yes, I know. According to our learned adult theologians, it cannot possibly be time for this. To the little children though, “this Revelation stuff is coming real soon Dad, very, very soon.”

Keep looking up to Jesus. Compel the lost to come in. The time is short.
