INTRODUCTION TO PROPHECY

I want you to imagine that you are a brand new, baby Christian. You have never even watched Christian television, and you don’t even own a bible yet. You never even went to Sunday School when you were a kid. Someone invited you to a home, where some Christians were meeting, and you were touched by a power, and you believed what they told you about Jesus. You asked Jesus into your heart, and said that you believed He is Lord and God, and asked Him to forgive you. They gave you a new testament paperback, and so, on your first night, after you got home, you opened the little book to the end: Revelation. In the margin, it explains this is the “Revelation To John”. It is a prophecy, or so it says. You have read a couple of books about prophecy, about Nostradamus. This is talking about the future.

As you read, you are very confused about all the images included there, but it is very impressive. You don’t understand very much as you make your way through Chapters one, two and three. In chapters four, five and six, things get even tougher to understand. There are beasts and elders and seals, and you wonder where the seals are, but it says that a lamb opens them, and now, you don’t really know what to think. You read chapter seven and wonder just who these 144,000 people are and why they are in twelve tribes. Then, you reach chapter eight, and suddenly, you begin to understand something.

You read, in verse 8 “ And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.”

This is all very clear for you. You have seen the movies “Armageddon” and “Deep Impact”. You know what this is talking about. This is talking about asteroids falling from the sky, causing big waves, and then, volcanoes erupt that darken the Sun and the Moon. Then, you put the bible down. For some reason, you want to check this out on the internet. Later, someone will explain that you were being led by the Holy Spirit, but at this point, you just feel like going online. You go to Google.com, and you search for “asteroid prophecies”.

The first link in view is Watchmen-Prophets-Assembly, and it’s a page called “ASTEROID PROPHECIES”. ASTEROID PROPHECIES MAIN PAGE You click on that first page, and you are on a page that has lots of links on it. Where to start? Well the first link is entitled “Introduction To Prophecy: With Particular Emphasis On Asteroids And The Great Flood”. So, you click on it, and YOU ARE HERE, ON THIS PAGE.

EASY TO UNDERSTAND
Some things in the bible take years of study to understand, but Revelation 8 is something any child can understand. The image of a big asteroid hurtling into the Ocean, creating a big tsunami, or tidal wave, is something we have all seen in the movies from our childhood. The images are very clear and compelling. You realize that when things like this begin to happen, life is going to change suddenly here on Planet Earth.

CONTEMPORARY ASTEROID PROPHECIES
What you have heard is correct. God is giving many prophets information about celestial objects that will strike the Earth. These may be asteroids, comets or meteors, but they are going to strike and create massive tidal waves. These impacts will trigger earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Mature Christian prophets with more than twenty years in the ministry are seeing these things. Christian baby prophets with less than two years in service are seeing them too. These prophets are seeing all types of other troubles to come as well.

WHY DON”T WE HEAR ABOUT THIS ON TV OR IN CHURCH?
Television ministry involves big money, big names, fame and pride. How well do you suppose Jesus will be able to operate in that environment? Big church ministry involves big money and big buildings. Prophecies about trouble to come tend to cause some people to fear, because those people are not rooted and grounded in faith in Jesus Christ: they still love this world. As a result, most churches keep their messages on the comfortable side.

CONFUSION IN THE CHURCH STRUCTURE
Most pastors teach that you, as a born again Christian, will not see these asteroids fall. They teach that the “rapture” will whisk the church away before this happens. God did not promise to reveal the future to pastors. He gave a promise to the prophet Amos: 3:6 “Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? Shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? 7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” In every age, God will tell His prophets about what He is going to do!

Pastors today are very concerned about teaching you how to prosper financially. But the bible does not tell you that your pastor holds the key to prosperity. Here is another surprising verse from the bible: 2 Chronicles 20:20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” Jehoshaphat was a king, and he believed it was crucial to believe God’s prophets in order to prosper. Your pastor is not as powerful as King Jehoshaphat was, yet Jehoshaphat BELIEVED that prophet. It is very difficult to prosper if a tidal wave rushes over your head. You have a need to know!

Finally, go into just about any church. It is very obvious that the pastor is in charge of everything. He makes all the decisions, and does most of the talking. The bible holds another surprising verse: Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” Apostles and prophets are the foundation of the church, not the pastor. The church is likened to a building, and it is built with living stones. The foundation needs to be living as well, but we do not see the church operating according to its owner’s manual. You can expect the manufacturer to conduct a recall soon in order to make modifications. The Lord must do it because God’s true apostles and prophets are very humble and submissive to Godly authority, wherever they find it. When the true apostles and prophets are ignored, they quietly come under the authority and wait upon the Lord.

Many, many pastors are aware of this prophecy, but they have not told their congregations about it. They are waiting for God to speak the prophecy directly to them. GOD IS UNDER NO SCRIPTURAL OBLIGATION TO DO SO. Once God has given His warning to two or three prophets, He has fulfilled His scriptural obligation.

De 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
De 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
Mt 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
2Co 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
1Ti 5:19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Mr. Pastor: your job is to discern and recognize false apostles and false prophets. Do your job please!

SATANS PLAN
Everywhere you look, people are trying to predict the future. False prophets, diviners, fortune tellers and astrologers have been around for thousands of years. The internet is full of such attempts and activities. Some people are even claiming to be prophets of God, but when you read their words, something just doesn’t seem right. Many times, they predict things and set dates that never occur. How can you know if you are reading the words of a true prophet, or one of the many imposters Satan has raised up? There are a few very simple rules:

1) The bible says we will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace. It also says that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. My first barometer, in discerning whether a prophet is true is this: do I feel that same peace deep down inside myself that I felt on the day I accepted Jesus as my saviour? Or, am I unsettled, and uncomfortable? When you lack inner peace about something after you have prayed, you had better just wait upon the Lord before you act on anything that any prophet has said.

2) The bible says that we will know a false prophet by his or her FRUIT. Fruit, in the bible, refers to character. It is something that grows from you or comes from you. Bad fruit does not come from a good tree, and vice versa. Galatians 5 includes a discussion that contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit. How much of each of these is present in the prophet you are currently studying? 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

3) There is a third method of discerning the true from the false, but it is the most unreliable method of the three and is most often used by religious people to persecute prophets. The bible says that the words of a true prophet will come to pass. But, the bible also says that God may repent of bringing a terrible thing to pass upon His people if the people repent. Sometimes, God will repent if a certain person or persons prays to Him and asks Him for more time. God is very merciful, so be careful in judging a prophet according to this criteria alone, especially if you have felt peace regarding the words of the prophet, and you have examined his or her life and find that good fruit is evident. CONCLUSION
Now, you can continue studying the prophecies in this website. You must discern, before the Lord, whether I am a true prophet. Then, you must also discern concerning the writings of other prophets that I have included here. You need to pray that the Lord would help you. He will!

These events are going to happen soon, but no one knows the exact day. So draw very close to the Lord, and seek His face. The signs of the return of Jesus Christ are everywhere. He told us that before He returns, we will see great signs.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

We have a hope that when He returns, we will already be with Him, because of this verse:

Jude 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

We are, however, told to expect trouble in our lives:

Acts 14:21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, 22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

God has told His prophets that we Christians will be here to see the impact of asteroids that cause great tidal waves. He has given us details, and instructions. The United States is going to be terribly impacted. Forewarned is forearmed. Jesus warned us that in the days nearing his return, it would be as it was in the days of Noah. Then, we consider this: when God warned Noah 120 years in advance to prepare for a flood, God sent a flood. It was not symbolic; it was real and it was literally fulfilled. Noah and his family were spared because they obeyed God and prepared for the deluge.

May the Lord bless and keep you on your search for Him and His truth.
