One of the most important things that God has called me to be is a father. I am a single parent of five children: four girls and one boy. I was in the delivery room to watch as each of these children gathered in their first breath.

I'll not labor long on the subject, but for me, this business of fathering is a very serious responsibility. I feel that I cannot carry out any other ministry before the Lord unless I properly acquit myself of my responsibilities in my home. The responsibility for these children is heavy and many times, causes me to arrange my schedule around them and their activities: no surprise for you single mom's out there.

This fathering transcends all aspects of my life. I also sense that I have the heart of a Father, and as such, I can hear the heart of my Father in heaven when He groans as he watches the activities of His children.

Something that Alex Puyol of Germany wrote this morning stirred me. Alex said that everyone today seems to be intent on forming their own opinions. I'll echo that. There is not much heed that is paid today or care taken to recognize the mantle of the Lord upon a man. One man's words do not seem to be valued above anothers. I've been spending some time reading in the Judges lately, and indeed, that time has returned upon us, when every man is doing what is right in his own eyes.

I heard the Father this morning and He was groaning with a heart of deep concern for his children. I share that concern.

Many years ago, I was looking for the one true church and praying to find it. I was dissatisfied with what I saw around me. One day, while I was in prayer, a knock came on my door. It was two Mormon missionaries. Before long, I became an LDS member. I've given my testimony before. You can read it on this site.

What the Father was groaning about this morning, and I was groaning with him, is that I see many Christians today wandering off down a similar path to the one taken by Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism.

This morning, I was groaning about Joseph Smith's testimony. You see, Joseph was very knowledgeable as a young Christian, and an apt student. He had a very inquisitive and curious nature though, and this caused him to dabble in some occultic things, such as water witching and the use of the divining rod.

The 1820's, when Joseph grew up, was a time of intense spiritual revival. Joseph, however grew dissatisfied with what he saw. Joseph was stumbled by the hypocrisy that he saw, and the sin in the church. He was therefore very ripe for the picking, when the angel Moroni came to him, telling him that none of the churches were true.

Plates were given to Joseph by that angel. The Book Of Mormon came from them. Now we know that this angel was sent in fulfillment of Galatians 1:8, and was an angel of darkness masquerading as an angel of light, but Joseph was hoodwinked: he was totally deceived.

The angel had to connect everything with the bible in order to deceive Joseph. There are two main scriptures that were used. Let us look at them, for they are being used again today by the Torah observers, and the Father is groaning.

The first is Ezekiel 37:15-17

"The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand."

The whole premise of the Book Of Mormon is this: Mormon was a last survivor of the people of Nephi. He was living in the America's, around 300 A.D. He wrote and compiled the plates and buried them in a hill in upstate New York. Mormon claimed to be descended from EPHRAIM. His claim was that all of these peoples in the Americas were of the "10 lost tribes" of Israel. The whole Mormon story is that a large group of Israelites travelled to the America's at the time of the first Assyrian dispersion. Others travelled later.

The whole deception is cleverly described and attacks the American right in the center of his patriotic pride. Every new Mormon convert is encouraged to discover what tribe of Israel he originated from. This is spiritually divined. And, so you see, Joseph Smith was given the task of not only gathering in the descendants of these dispersed EPHRAIMITES, but also gathering in the JEWS: yes, JEWS are converting to the LDS. The Mormons actively reach out to the Jews and they have a temple in Jerusalem.

During my "Mormon Oddysey", I collected more than a hundred books, which I burned when I made my exit. Most of them had to do with the research and proof of this idea that the "lost tribes of Israel" had been dispersed, and that a large group had migrated to the America's. Deseret Publishing has title upon title dealing with this subject.

Let's look at John 10:16

"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

This one really set the hook in Joseph Smith. The Angel Moroni (an angel of Satan), told Joseph, through the Book Of Mormon, that Jesus had visited the America's and preached the gospel to the Nephites, who were descended from EPHRAIM. Jesus had visited his other sheep. In fact, the angel told Joseph, Jesus had visited every continent and preached the good news and that these books were going to come forth too.

From there, it was not too hard to carry Joseph Smith away in the deception. The Father and the Son were made to appear before Joseph Smith and they had physical bodies. From there, he was led to the doctrine of many Gods, and of men becoming Gods. But it all began in the bible. How did that deception originate?

Joseph Smith was convinced that certain scriptures in Ezekiel that God meant to apply specifically and solely to dispersed Jews were now applicable to Americans. He could only be convinced of this if he was in some way convinced that Americans were, in large part, dispersed Jews.

Ezekiel 36 is very clear that as the Jews were dispersed, they carried their traditions, and their torah worship everywhere they went. They carried with them the story, as told in Ezekiel 36:20 that "These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land."

God says that this profaned his holy name. It is what Moses was warning God about. Moses convinced God, once before, to spare Israel because his holy name would be profaned when the gentile nations heard of God's destruction of his own people.

Now, in Ezekiel 36, God realizes that his Holy name has been profaned: the words of Moses and probably Moses' intercession are ringing in God's ears once again, and he determines to gather this identifiable people from the four winds and back into their land. Who are these people? They are they Jews. They are not a bunch of Christians.

There is nothing about Christians, living in America, that profanes God's holy name. But Jews...Torah carrying Jews, are a constant reminder that God's promises remain unfulfilled to give a people a particular land and bless them in it.

Today, we see all the powers of hell aligned together with the powers of the nations, to chip away at that tiny land of Israel and once again obliterate her from the earth. How long, Oh Lord, will you allow your name to be profaned?

This deception, that you Americans are once again hearing in your ears, leads nowhere good. You are not literally descended from the ten tribes of Israel: you are grafted in spiritually to Israel. There is no call or requirement for you to become a Jew. You are not called to keep a kosher home or deliver blood sacrifice to your God. Your life and existence in America does not profane the Holy name of God. The Jews who live here, who are identifiable, who are separate and distinct: their life here still profanes His holy name. They are called to return to their land. The words and prophecies of Ezekiel 36 and 37 apply to JEWS, after the flesh.

The Lord is saying to you Christians: "I did not call you to be a Jew"!
