TODAY'S WORD
This is what the Lord says to you:

Prepare yourselves! Your �balanced� church is about to meet the Lord you claim to know.

I have not called you to be balanced. I have called you to REST in Me. I have called you to BE a building, firmly fitted together. I have placed you upon a firm foundation of apostles and prophets. Instead, you have chosen something that never entered my mind, and that I never discussed in my word: to be balanced upon the pin point of pastor control.

Your �balance� has worked in the day of calm and prosperity. Prepare to meet your God, you �balanced� church.

For you have no sustainable vision, and you are certain to be destroyed. You have made no preparations unto the day of trouble; unto the blowing of the wind and the shaking of the ground; unto the day the waves will overflow their boundaries which I have set for them. You have no vision for the day on which the stars of heaven will fall from the sky. You have no vision for the day of overflowing volcanoes, flying missiles and invading armies. Without vision, the people perish.

For I will blow against your �balanced� church, and it will be destroyed; For I will shake the ground under your �balanced� church, and it will be destroyed; For I will cause the waves to flow over you, you �balanced� church, and you will be destroyed.

You claim to love the prophets.

You have loved those who would obey you, and who would speak soft words to you. Prophets have warned you of what is to come, and you have silenced them, fearing that your precious �balance� would be damaged. Your balance is the physical manifestation of your love for this world and for the things of this world. Your covetousness is in my plain view.

My prophets have come under. They have obeyed you. They have warned, and have now, become silent. They have left your assemblies.

I will now speak. There is no more need for my prophets to speak. I will now talk for them.

Prepare to meet the God you claim to know.

For I, Stephen, will now tell you what I saw in a vision from the Lord this morning, upon awaking suddenly at 5 A.M.:

I saw your balanced church. I saw a pastor, in a vision, holding a scale model in his hand, representing your balanced church. It was balanced upon a pin point, in the fashion that we have seen the scales of justice balance upon a pin point. I was sitting in the congregation, and you were instructing your church about balance, and the so-called five fold ministry.

Then suddenly, I arose from my seat, and I quietly walked to the front of the congregation without saying a word. I stood in front of you and faced you, with my back to the congregation.

You were holding your little model of the balanced church, which was about 12 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Suddenly, I reached out, and knocked your balanced church right off the pinpoint with my right hand. It flew out of your hand, and into the floor. You had this shocked, angry look upon your face, but you didn�t say a word.

I picked up your balanced church model with my right hand, and placed it back on its� pin point. Once again, you saw it was in balance. Then, I drew a deep breath, and I blew on your little �balanced� church model, and again, it fell off its� perch, and hit the floor. Again, you looked shocked, and angry, but you were speechless: you didn�t know what to say.

This time, it stayed in the floor, and the vision ended.

My Africa Wish List Is As Follows:

Project #1-$100,000-For 100 water wells, beginning at Kittui. I am told we will have to drill 200 wells to develop 100 producing wells. This money will purchase drilling equipment and a large truck to carry it in. This week, I will shop for a small "Hi-Rider" truck for carrying men and fuel. We have already completed a geological survey at the Kittui site, and we have formed a team of seven members to work toward completion of this project. Received thus far: $7,000

Project #2-$5,000-Two, 250 person event tents-cost $2,500 each. I have already visited the tent manufacturer in Nairobi. We need this tent for holding bigger crusades in Kenya.

Project #3-$7,500-We need to purchase a sound system for use in the Kenya crusades. I am planning on being in Africa, four times per year. We rented the sound system for the three events we just held. We anticipate holding bigger events, and we will need a more powerful system. With the sound system, we need a generator to power it.

Project #4-$10,000-A truck for David Machimbo Walukhu, my missions coordinator, in Kenya. Right now, David has no vehicle, and travels by bus. I am shopping for one this week, for dual use with the water project. We have found a 2002 Toyota Hi Rider, for 850,000 Kenyan Shillings. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ITEM.

Project #5-$2,500-Repair for a large, panel Isuzu truck, that is currently sitting idle at Sowetto Academy, Nairobi. We will use this truck for hauling of tent and equipment. Praise God! Chris got this truck fixed.

Project #6-$5,000-Completion of the stone wall that will totally encircle Sowetto Academy. This is really needed to keep people from using walkways right through the middle of the school and orphanage. Right now, the wall is about 25% complete.

Project #7-$20,000-My estimate for the cost that it would take for Chris Ocumu to accomplish a second floor addition to the school building in Sowetto Academy. Praise God! This is almost complete on January 20, 2005. Only the roof is needed for $50,000 KSH ($600)

So, there it is: $60,000 for the equipment. Add in $10,000 for my airfare and costs for four trips per year, and $10,000 for flyers and posters and $20,000 for other event costs for the 2005 outreach events and you have $100,000. Jesus says, "you have not because you ask not". I say, Lord Jesus, I Am Asking!
