On February 2, David Skelly issued this word of prophecy at Watchmen-Prophets-Assembly"

"In future there is going to be a massive gigantic worldwide revival of true Christianity. I remember that one of my mentors quite some years ago said that the word Christian means this Christ and that the ian at the end means I am nothing. Christ is all and we are dust. But praise the Lord he has lifted us out of the mire of sin to be HIS humble servants. It is Christ in us that is the hope of glory. The revival is all about Christ in us and Christ revealed through us. Just writing these things about Jesus kind of cheered me up and gave me strength.

The seven prosperous years foreshadows the future gigantic global revival. There will be an abundant spiritual prosperity. We Saints need to avail ourselves the opportunity to be built up and fed the meat of God's word during this revival to enable us to serve God gloriously during the coming seven years of the terrifying beast that shall devour the whole earth. Those who don't avail themselves of the great opportunity to know Christ and be fed by him will be easy meat for the Beast. The Beast is going to devour many millions of Christians. Many will even be deceived and corrupted by him. But those who have availed themselves of the opportunites to grew in Jesus during the times of great spiritual prosperity will be in better shape to be faithful unto death even if it means being tortured or executed by the Beast's servants.

There will be a gigantic global revival of undetermined length not necessarily seven years. After the revival comes the falling away of millions of believers from the true faith will take place (2 Thes 2:3). Then comes the beast. He makes a covenant for 7 years (Daniel 9:27). As we know that terrible things will happen in this period. But Jesus is coming back and those that are with him will be called, chosen and FAITHFULL (Revelation 17:14; 19:14).

Those of you who have known me a long time know that I am not ashamed to tell the world, or the church, that God has called me as a prophet. But with that calling, comes the duty to do the hard things. It is comparatively easier to prophesy than it is to judge prophecy, yet, God has called His prophets in the church to judge prophecy. Please examine this scripture:

"Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

Those of you who know me a long time know that I judge prophecy. At this point in time, I am not aware of anyone else who does this. Now, what I'm talking about is not flaming, not trashing another individual or attacking people. We are required to judge the prophecy if we are prophets. This must mean that it can be done with love and respect and honor for one another. It must also mean that it is possible for the prophet to be in error, and still be held in respect and honor in the assembly. For one prophet to say that he does not believe another has prophesied accurately is simply to express a judgement on THAT ONE WORD. The author of that word may still be a prophet of God.

Some will say that I err in what I state above. They will hold the prophet to an old testament criteria. You see, they wish to throw all prophets over the cliff. They look for one error, one mistake, and then it is "off with their heads". But prophets are under the new covenant too. Do you really believe Elijah never made a mistake? Perhaps you think it was right for him to curse those children who called him baldy? No, Elijah was a man like me, of like passions. He needed God's forgiveness just like we do.

First of all, I want to say that I have read every word that David Skelly has posted to Watchmen- Prophets-Assembly. From what I have read, I regard him as a man of God, and most likely, in the prophetic office, as I am. I therefore hold him in great respect.

With regard to what he has prophesied with respect to a great worldwide revival to come, I must dissent. This prediction of a great revival has been spoken by many over the years and has usually been accompanied by a teaching on the pre-tribulational rapture view.

I respectfully disagree with Mr. Skelly with respect to the notion of a Worldwide Revival because, like a pre-tribulational rapture, I cannot find it in scripture. What I do find are predictions that certain saints who know their God will do great exploits. I also find a prediction that the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the earth.

What will the result of that worldwide preaching by a tremendously anointed remnant produce? David Skelly predicts 1 billion souls will be saved.

Jesus prophesied, as it was recorded in Matthew 24, that these days would be as it was in the days of Noah. Noah was a preacher of righteousness, yet he won no converts outside of his own family. Jesus also prophesied, as it was recorded in Luke 17, that it would be in these days to come as it was in the days of Lot. Lot is called a righteous man in scripture. If by no other means, he preached by the living of his righteous life before an evil people. And yet, he won no converts, other than his only family members.

I put it to you that the coming days will be marked by much anointed preaching, but true conversions will be rare, especially in the developed countries. We have been seeing, just in the last few years, great numbers of conversions in the poorest countries of the world.

I believe that we are going to have seven fat years, as in the days of Joseph. But these seven fat years are for those who have kept and will keep themselves as waking, watchful spiritual virgins. That speaks of a very small number of people who will obey God and his instructions for the setting up and keeping of their tabernacles. These will do great exploits. I do not see a great multitude of converts spoken of in the scripture, and the Spirit of the Lord in me does not bear witness to the notion that a great, salvation producing revival is going to result in the salvation of 1/6 of the population of the world.

I want to urge those who wish to make reply to what I have written to respond to David, and myself in love, honor and respect. We need to preserve unity and avoid contention. None of us has all the answers and we are all wicked and sinful, needful of daily forgiveness by our glorious Lord and Saviour.

So long as the discussion continues on this subject and is free of contention, I will allow it to continue unhindered. If contention arises, I will limit further discussion as I and the elders deem appropriate.

As is always the case when we discuss areas where differing views are present, please present scripture, where possible, to explain and defend your views. In this way, the whole assembly will be edified.

Perhaps, if we do these things obediently and with a pure heart, we will all learn and be comforted, as was Paul's expressed hope in 1 Corinthians 14:31.

And now, may our Lord Jesus Christ bless and protect every heart in this assembly, as well as every heart who reads these words. May our Lord dispatch his angels to protect the love we have for one another and our unity and command the blessing of God in our midst, as I pray in the Holy name of Jesus of Nazareth, Amen.
