Phillipians 3:13-14:

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Some of you have made me aware that my brother is doing a little talking about me back on our old egroup. Someone asked if I wanted to see it and the Lord spoke the word to me about "not looking behing me".

The night I decided to leave the old group, I also got rid of the bookmark to the old egroup site. Since it is my belief that the old site has been "scrapped" by the potter, I don't believe He is using it now. By unsubscribing, that means that I disconnected from the old group and no longer receive their emails. Also, I do not have access to their archives anymore and that is the way that the Lord wants it.

It feels as if a load has been lifted off of my back: not having to read the types of things that were coming in my email. I was getting so weary. Now, I can sense increasing strength: not only in me but in my brothers and sisters around me.

So, I don't feel it is proper for me to look behind me. To the best of my ability and reckoning, I have obeyed God in this: even in the selection of the name. If they talk about me, I'll talk to Jesus about them down on my knees, as the song says. I really hope they come out of this thing OK. I pray for them.

It seems that there is something in basic human nature that wants to stop and stare at a catastrophe. People slow down on the highway to look at the spilled blood in highway accidents. Let us not be like that.

Our Lord has much to say to us. We have now been moved into green pasture. We came through a gate as we entered the New Year. Many who have stagnated for months are now receiving words from the Lord, visions and dreams, with interpretations. Others are filled with new boldness to post, for the very first time, what the Lord has been giving them. Hallelujah for the freedom that we have in Christ and for the love that we have for one another.

"Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. How is the faithful city become a harlot! It was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water. Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. Therefore, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies."
