I have written three articles in the last three months that go by these titles: "Nothing Has Changed", "The Time Of The End" and "More Light From God On The Time Of The End". I receive more ridicule for these than for most. The position I adopt in those articles that draws the most disagreement is my statement that we have 10-30 years left on this Earth: and it is probably closer to 30. It may even be more than 30.

I was having a telephone discussion with an apostle today, and this subject came up. He agrees with me in the main on this point. We agree that here, in the United States, we have anywhere from three to ten years of light left: time when men can do the work of the gospel. Then, darkness will come such that no man can work. This time of darkness will stretch on longer than most saints consider possible and will wear out the saints.

Why say this, I've been asked? Well first of all, because God told it to me. That is enough for me. But secondly, I say it because we, in the church, must develop a mindset of endurance. We are not going to be rambling around our mansions in heaven anytime soon unless we die. We may as well set our mind to endure, and have a long view.

Mickey Evans says that the man with a long view will make plans for the long run. The one who thinks he is in for a quick escape will not do this. Our command from the Lord is to occupy until the Lord comes.

Diana Westbrook wrote to me earlier in the week, pulling on the anointing in me. She wants me to comment further on Daniel 9. Specifically, she wants me to comment on the fact that it is not sealed, as parts of Daniel are.

When I received her words, I kept them in my inbox for current mail, but I really did not want to revisit this issue. Daniel 9 and 2 Thessalonians 2 seem to haunt me. It is as though I expect the Lord to give a great breakthrough here in understanding of these scriptures at any moment, and the Holy Spirit keeps bringing me back to them over and over again.

So, Diana wants answers from me regarding the time of the end. Tonight, I am asking the Lord for more. His answer: He wants me to write about my children.

I have five: one is a son. When he was in his mother's womb, the Lord revealed to me that we were having a boy and that his name was John. He was a prophet from the womb. Now, he is six years of age.

Today, during lunch, my son, John Mark, revealed that he had dreamed last night. In the dream, he was getting ready to tour the Bonnet House mansion in Ft. Lauderdale. He entered the grounds, and went up the walk, but the tour ended because he woke up. He did not get into the mansion because his dream ran out of time.

I immediately recognized the dream as being from the Lord. I began to talk about prophecy and how God speaks through dreams, even through little children, and that interpretations can come forth from those dreams.

My 11 year old daughter then began to interpret the dream. She said the dream means that we won't be going to our mansion in heaven very soon.

She used almost the same words that the apostle and I had used about three hours earlier over the telephone. God is saying clearly that we need endurance for the long haul. We need to get ready to see some shocking things. Israel is going to be removed from the map: for a season. It is not the time of the end just yet. Those globes that they are selling in Wal Mart that do not show Israel are just the natural sign of what I prophesied last year. Israel is going into captivity again for a season. Nothing has changed. Israel must turn to the Lord.

There we are again. Daniel 9 and 2 Thessalonians 2. Lets throw Matthew 24, Mark 13 in for good measure. These are the scriptures that talk about that signal event that marks the time of the end: the revealing of the son of perdition.

Since Diana Westbrook wanted me to elaborate on Daniel 9, I will, and I pray that the Lord will have me say something new and fresh, THAT IS FROM HIM. Daniel 12:9 says that the words of the angel were sealed up until the time of the end. Daniel "understood not", according to verse 8, and asked, but was denied understanding at that time. This contrasts with the visit from Gabriel, documented in 9:22, where Gabriel gave Daniel skill and understanding. He was also told in verse 23 to "understand the matter, and consider the vision.

I must conclude that since understanding of the matter was given to him, Daniel did understand it and that it was not sealed by God. Therefore, if we meet the "Daniel" criteria, there is no reason at all why God would deny us understanding of Daniel 9. What are the "Daniel" criteria?

He was called highly favored by the angel. No sin of his is recorded; no lack of zeal evidenced. A life full of prayer displayed. And, he prayed with humility. His humble prayer proved to be the key to receipt of revelation. His seeking of revelation regarding what he understood: the 70 years of Jeremiah, led to the revelation of something new: the 490 years of Daniel.

I recall now something that I read. It was from Isaac Newton's book, "Observations On Daniel". Very few are aware that Newton became a strong Christian and was an expert in biblical languages. I believe that Newton received light God.

Newton wrote in 1730, that with respect to Daniel 9:25, it referred to the second coming of Christ. It reads as follows:

"Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the prince shall be seven weeks," Newton concluded that 49 years after this commandment, Messiah would come.

Marvin Byers quoted this and made much of it a few years back, saying that 1948, plus 49 years, was pointing to 1997 or 1998. But as we know, these dates passed without incident.

Once this passed, now the focus is, of course, on 2016 (1967 plus 49). Will this pan out. Time will tell. Or is the decree to restore and build Jerusalem still something future? The scripture indicates that the wall will be rebuilt. Has this happened yet?

In any event, the key to receiving as Daniel did is found in Daniel 9:1-19. This prayer, prayed for his nation, with tears, was the key. Also key was the fact that he was seeking answers with respect to the 70 years of Jeremiah (25:11-12).

It is clear that Daniel was not of the spirit of the men that God talked about in Zephaniah 1:12:

"And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The Lord will not do good, neither will he do evil."

Daniel believed that it was the Lord who had allowed the evil to come upon Israel, and he also believed that God was ready to do good to Israel: just as He said it would be. We need to be found in prayer as Daniel was, with tears for our sins and the sins of our nation. We need to be seeking for answers.

In any event, it is going to be awhile before we see those mansions in heaven.
