TODAY'S WORD

Hebrews 1:1-14 You can read the rest yourself.
Verse 1, " God, who in sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the PROPHETS". Verse 2, "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds".

These verses are very clear. God is still in business concerning His faithful prophets. Their voices are still going forth; but you know what the sad thing is, hardly anyone is paying attention or listening for the blowing of the trumpet.

The few faithful ones are prepared. The others, is business as usual. Oh we have heard all this before. True but why have you walked away and didn't finish the climb to the mountain top? Do you possess the soul of a lion or the soul of a quitter?

Hebrews 2:1-18.
"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip".

Some of you have let yourself slip into not caring anymore or not caring enough telling yourself whatever happens happens. Well it seems to me that you have become a reproach to the Cross rather than a warrior of the Cross. What are the true motives of your heart towards the things of God? Is your heart so eroded and corrupt that you're calling evil good and good evil? Is that the path you're on?

Verse 3 " How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him". Those of us who will not heed the call or the warnings will surely perish. Don't be found wanting. This is your time to turn around and do the right thing.

Hebrews 3:1-19.
Verse 1, " Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider that Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus". We have been called as partakers of Jesus Christ... we are to par-take. Do you understand we are part of Him. Verse 12, " Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God".

The Apostle was not speaking about unsaved people; he was speaking about us believers; who has allowed evil into our hearts by scoffing at prophecies and foretold events. So unbelief is an evil thing that causes an erosion of the heart; the cutting away of godly beliefs and loving and hating good.

May God have mercy on us. You know Prophet Stephen and I ever so often do an examination of our hearts to catch any kind of unbelief or erosion taking place.

We are told in verse 13 how we are to live each day. There must be a very strong determination on our part to be consistent in our encouragement and upliftment of others. You notice this is not a one time request. It's a daily process, not weekly, monthly, not yearly. How many of you can honestly in WPA say you have been encouraging or uplifting others in this group? Some of you have and what about the others?

We have at least 114 members. Ask yourself why did I join this group? Was it for information for myself? Was it for selfish reasons? Was it so I can keep gleaning from the few that now and then contribute? Or was it to be a blessing to the group? Only you have the answer and can be honest with yourself. We have been practically begging people to contribute but it falls on deaf ears. It seems that the only time we get any feedback is when prophet or I do an article. That shouldn't be. People you have a great opportunity to share so why is there no initiative? Well like I said before you probably don't care or you're fast asleep.

Erosion of the heart starts slowly when your love for God and the things of God grows cold; thereby putting your fire out. We then end up with a dry well. We have to stay connected to the true vine Jesus, by being a partaker and giver of godly things. Or else all we will be left with is a heart that is corrupted with unbelief and hard; overrun with deception, greed, covetness, unholy cravings and habits, pride and poisoning of the soul.

Your tree will only leave behind dead, decayed branches and limbs that will block your spiritual purpose. No nourishment comes from dead things only living things. You can choose produce nourishment and be a fruitful and very productive tree; or you can go on being one that's barren, unproductive, devoid of substance and purely selfish. Many people started out saved and faithful but their DNA was still unlike God. It reminds me of the children of Israel. Read about it in 2 Peter 1,2,3 chapters. There is a lust for spiritual power...to be like the Latin kingdom beast....thing is there are no horns, not doing satanism; just more into worldly promises of trinkets, money, women, cars, boats, bigger church buildings and they want it all. It's a very powerful pull in our society today. If we can stay clear of these things owning us we will stand.

The gifts of God are "NOT FOR SALE". Stop selling yourself short. You have revelation, it's time you break out of your shell.
