Prophecy: When You Don't Know

TODAY'S WORD When you don't know what to do, what went wrong or where you went astray...... When people are telling you to pray for one thing, and others are telling you to pray for another thing, you don't know how to pray or even if you are to pray..... When you feel like you are not hearing God and that God might be angry with you, in that you may have hurt the feelings of His Holy Spirit......... When there are many conflicting teachings about things that you feel are very important and you don't know what the truth is..... When something happens that puzzles you in some unexpected way and causes you to doubt your faith in God.... When you don't know how to deal with a difficult person...... When you begin to discern that almost everyone you are listening to loves money more than they love God and you can't quite tell the fake ones from the real ones..... When you begin to fear the future and you wonder how you will pay the bills, feed your family and survive..... When you don't know what you can do any differently and you seem to be sliding into more and more trouble......... When the bible doesn't seem to make sense anymore and you are not sure what it says..... When you begin to feel that you have no clue about what will happen next.... When you have fallen back into a sinful habit and you are feeling very guilty about it.......... THEN............... you need to get your mind off of yourself...... you need to put all thoughts on hold where you are worrying about all of your problems, needs and shortcomings....... and you need to set your mind on Jesus and keep it on Him for a good long time...... Think about HIM and what He did..... Meditate on HIM..... Read the word about HIM and what He did and what that gained for us....... Confess your sins and repent to HIM, asking HIM for forgiveness.... Pray to HIM....for something that someone else needs.... Thank HIM....for starters, that you have running water in your house that you can drink........ Connect with HIM.... Worship HIM.... Praise HIM.... Pray to HIM for your needs........ Serve and obey HIM.... Be open to be led by the Holy Spirit into fasting unto HIM.... Contact a brother or a sister in the Lord and have a long discussion about the basic elements of the gospel, how wonderful Jesus is and how He is ready to always help us. Avoid religiousity. Just have a real talk about our wonderful life in Him.... Pass it on........ Remind someone else who is lost or disoriented that Jesus is alive, real and available whenever we run to HIM..... THEN, show some real love and charity to someone without expecting anything in return, and do it just like Jesus would do it. Try to gain a brother or a sister or assist a total unbeliever. Don't let it be shallow. Let it cost you something. Let it take up some of your most precious asset: time....... IF WE DO THIS, WE WILL FIND THAT WE ARE HOLDING TO THE HEAD OF THE MANY MEMBERED BODY OF THE CHURCH, WHICH IS CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD (Colossians 2:19) Thanks, Stephen L.
