WHAT DOES THE LDS (CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS) TEACH ABOUT WHO JESUS IS?
LDS "apostle" Bruce R. McConkie, and others before him, including Mormon prophet Lorenzo Snow, taught that "As God once was, man now is. As God now is, man shall become." (1) Mormonism teaches that God used to be a man on another world and that he became a god by following the laws and ordinances of his god on his home world. In his present god-state, he rules our world. He has a body of flesh and bones and, according to Mormonism, he has a wife, a goddess wife.

WHAT IS CORRECT AND TRUE?
There is one God. There will never be more than ONE God. There is no other Saviour.
Christianity rides on the back of the horse of Judaism. It is the cornerstone of Judaism that there is ONE GOD, and ONE LORD. We are not saved if the ancient, believing Hebrews are not, and they believed in ONE GOD, and ONE LORD (Deuteronomy 6:4). Jesus was sent to the Jews ALONE. Then, the gospel was carried by the apostles to the gentiles.
Isaiah 43
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh
Colossians 2
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.



WHAT DOES THE LDS (CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS) TEACH ABOUT WHO JESUS IS?
The first spirit born was Jesus. Afterwards were born the devil and all other spirit creatures. After the spirit children are born to god and his goddess wife in heaven, they come down and entered into the bodies of human babies that are being born on earth. All people were, according to Mormonism, born in heaven first and then on earth where they are to grow, learn, and return to god.

WHAT IS CORRECT AND TRUE?
Jesus has eternal existence!
John 8
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Jesus had glory with the Father before the world began
John 17
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Jesus is the creator of all things!
Hebrews 1
1 ¶ God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
