Rev 18:1  And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.				1793 AD to Future				Elliott, Horae, Vol 4, P42	18:1   The period from 1793, beginning with the French Revolution, stretched onward to 1868, when the Pope was arrested, Rome was conquered and it became clear that a second fatal head wound had been dealt to the Beast.  During the time in between those dates, there was much fruitless prophetic speculation that Christ would return, especially in 1844, by a group called "The Millerites".  These predictions all failed and a time followed that was termed "The Great Disappointment".
Rev 18:2  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.									18:2   Yes, in 1868, it appeared that Babylon the Great had entirely fallen, but in 1920, Benito Mussolini restored the Vatican to Papal and Roman Catholic control.  Then, in the late 1960's, we began to see many ecumenical movements.  The NIV Bible was produced in the late 1970's and was instituted as the bible of the Protestant Churches.  This bible contained changes to certain passages, Daniel 9:27 most notably, that support the futuristic view of interpretation of prophetic scriptures, which is, in essence, the Papal view.  Today, almost all Christians are walking around with a futuristic, left behind prophetic doctrine that was originated by the Pope's men.  I believe that the fatal head wound to the beast, wounded the second time at the French Revolution, will be reenacted again, on a wider scale, in the near future.
Rev 18:3  For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.									18:3   The period from the 1970's saw the tremendous expansion of television ministries, which led to the creation of something that I have called "The TBN Denomination", where a charismatic senior pastor, mimicking a little pope, rules his kingdom for money and gain.  This thing is rotten to the core and is every bit a qualifier for the title of "Daughter of Babylon".  Behold:  the mother of harlots and her beautiful harlot daughters!
Rev 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.					18:4   The Church as a whole degenerates. Called to prepare men for the Second Coming of the Lord, and to teach them to live, not for the present, but the future, she becomes herself the victim of the present She forgets that, in the absence of the Bridegroom, her days are days of fasting. She fails to realize the fact that until her Lord comes again her state is one of widowhood. And, instead of mourning, she sits as a queen, at ease and satisfied, proud of her pomp and jewellery. What is all this but a recurrence of the old events of history? The Apostle sees the future mirrored in the past; and he can only follow in his Master's footsteps, and call His Christian remnant out of Babylon. The words are in the highest degree important for the interpretation and understanding of the Apocalypse. We have already found in more than one passage distinct traces of this double Church, of the true Church within the false, of the few living ones within the Body which had a name to live, but was dead. Here the distinction meets us in all its sharpness, and fresh light is cast upon passages that may have formerly seemed dark. " Many are called," " many " constituting the outward Church; but "few are chosen," "few" constituting the real Church, the Church which consists of the poor, and meek, and lowly. The two parts may keep together for a time, but the union cannot last;			W. Robertson Nicoll, The Expositor's Bible, Volume 25, P 306	18:4   I write in 2019, and it is every bit as much a present requirement for believers today to come out of her:  not merely out of the Roman Catholic church, but also out of her harlot daughter congregations.
Rev 18:5  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.					18:5   Bishop Newton observes, “was there any such necessity of forsaking the Church of Rome in the days of Alaric or Totilas, before she had degenerated again into idolatry? Rev 18:7  How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

Rev 18:11  And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
Rev 18:12  The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
Rev 18:13  And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
Rev 18:14  And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
Rev 18:15  The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
Rev 18:16  And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
Rev 18:17  For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
Rev 18:18  And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
Rev 18:19  And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
Rev 18:20  Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.									18:20   I have personally received abuse at the hands of these Senior Pastor- little popes of the daughter harlot churches of Mystery Babylon, mother of harlots.  I will be rejoicing when it falls:  whether I be in heaven or on the Earth.
Rev 18:21  And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.									18:21   Ottoman empire dissolved 1923, 2,670 years after coronation of Nabonassar in Babylon (7 times), plus 75 plus 75.  This is so similar to the symbols of the sixth trumpet that to me, I see the modern day revival of Turkish-Moslem power as spoken of here in this sixth vial  So, a revived Ottoman Empire may be what we are looking at, with ISIS certainly seeking a revived Caliphate.........THE FUTURE:  Read the article- "Soma-The Tribulation Will Begin In The Slavic Lands, Turkey, Or Both"...http://usaprophet.com/tracksoma.html
Rev 18:22  And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
Rev 18:23  And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
Rev 18:24  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.									18:24   We have now seen an almost complete second healing of a fatal head wound to this Beast.  Will we see a return to secular, governmental power?  Are there more martyrs yet to receive their crowns at her hand?
